DVS Volari Mesh shoes for Wakeskating
A week or three ago, I posted that I was dying to get ahold of some DVS Dresden Royal Mesh wakeskate shoes. Sure enough, I go to order them tonight and there is no size eleven for Men’s available at boardstop. wtf!
I’m going to go ahead and Beg the DVS Shoe corporation - Make my day, send me some friggin’ Royal Mesh shoes to wake in!
Now that I have sold my soul to our corporate overlords, let me tell you what I’m going to do! I’m going to grit my teeth, continue to Pray that DVS will send me the Royal Mesh’s and I am going to order some DVS Volari Mesh shoes instead.
Why? Well, Look at them. They are pretty darn hot. Plus, they were designed and tested by the DVS Wake team which includes Parks Bonifay, Shawn Watson, Danny Molina, Thomas Horrell, Aaron Reed, Danny Hampson, and Myles Vickers.
The DVS Volari Mesh’s have a lightweight EVA Midsole. They are made out of an open-cell breathable mesh with non-slip traction pod outsole. According to Boardstop, they are perforated for heat reduction (’cause hot feet at the lake is bad times!) with low profile construction and sure fit tongue straps.
Sound pretty cool. I’ll order them, wait and find out if DVS will take a chance and send me a size 11 pair of Dresden Royal Mesh’s. PS - my wakeskatin’ roomie, Scott, wants a pair of those DVS Milan Black/Green Mesh shoes in size 11 or 12! If you send them, we will give them a “construction test” and assess in a “real” review! hahaha.
